Spencer Environmental Center
The Spencer Environmental Center is the hub for our leading community environmental nonprofits like The Coalition for Sound Growth, Chattahoochee River Conservancy, the Chattahoochee Fall Line Partnership, The Nature Conservancy, and Trees Columbus.
The Spencer Environmental Center is located in the fully-restored 1837 Swift-Kyle House at 303 12th Street in Uptown Columbus, the primary entertainment district of Columbus, GA. Built in 1857, it is the only surviving intact, urban antebellum family compound in Columbus and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 11, 1973.
